Lancaster, Pennsylvania draws in visitors for lots of different reasons – from the Amish goods and culture, to the historic sites, to the more generic tourist attractions the city has to offer. Whatever your reason for visiting, you can pack more fun into your stay by booking a room at one of the city’s water park resorts. Protected from the weather and heated to a balmy 84 degrees, an indoor water park serves as a convenient – and weatherproof – all-season playground for both kids and adults.
Fortunately, there are couple of hotels with indoor water parks in Lancaster PA to choose from. Here are the options:
Caribbean Indoor Water Park
This small water park is connected to the Budget Host Inn & Suites. It includes water slides, activity pool, water agility course, and lots of toys and play equipment for kids. Adults might prefer to relax in the luxurious spa. Admission to this water park is limited to guests of the Budget Host Inn and a select few other hotels that are nearby. Make sure to get the water park package when booking your stay.
Willow Valley Doubletree
The water park at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton isn’t really a true water park at all. It’s more accurate to call it an indoor pool with a kiddie playground. Still, this pool is sure to keep younger kids busy while adults swim or relax poolside. Admission to the indoor pool and playground is reserved for hotel guests.
Note: For those who have visited the area before, this hotel was formerly part of the Willow Valley Resort.
If you’re looking to stay at a Lancaster indoor water park, you have a couple of options to choose from. Neither is among the biggest or best water parks in the region, but if you’re staying in the area, they offer one more fun family activity. Of course, they’re also handy if you live nearby and need a fun weekend getaway in the middle of winter.
